MT Chapter VII of the Ordinames of the City of Bangor be amended
by adding a new article 3, as follows;
ARTICLE 3 - MECMNI= CODE
Sec. 1 Mechanical Code Adopted. In accordance with Title 30,
Section 2156, Maim Revised
Statutes Annotated of 1964, as aawmed, "The BOCA Basic
M amnical Code/1975"., Second Bditiaq published by the
Building Officials g Cade Administrators International,
Inc.,. is hereby adopted and incorporated by reference,
as the minimma standard for the design, installation and
maintename of all mechanical systema in the City of
Bangor, imledlng heating system, ventilation systema,
Doling systems, steam and hot water heating systems,
process piping, boilers and pressure vessels, appliances
utilising gas, liquid or solid fuel, chimsaye and vents,
mechaafcai refrigeration sysfew, fireplaces, barbecues,
incinerators, crematories, fixe protection systema and
air pollutioncontrol systema. Said Mechanical Cade is
adopted in its published form on if fully set forth
herein, exempt as follows:
(1) Article 1, Section M-100.3 is amended to read as
follows;
M-100.3 Title: This code shall be known as the
Mechanical Code of (na e-a€-ywisdgeeiea) the City
of Bangor hereinafter referred to as the mechanical
Code or 'this code,"
(2) Article.1, Section M-102.1 is deleted.
(3) Article 2, Section M-201.0 is emended to read as
follows
Air for coeducation: The amount of air required for

(5) Article 9, Section M-900.3 is amended to read as follows:
M-900.3 Annual inspection: All crematories and all
Incinerators, except Class I,%Class le and domestic,
shall be impacted annually by) the department. pee

(6) Article 9, Section M-904.1 is amended to read as follows:
M-904.1 Central: In addition to the other requirements

(7) - Article 11, Section M-1117.1 is amended to read as
follows:
M-1117.1 General: Any person, found guilty of
violating, any provisicn of these regulations or
any lawful order or notice from the department
pertaining to these regulations, shall be subject
to the fines.ox penalties as prescribed by this
section. Whenever, in any section of this code, or
any section, rule or
o regulation promulgated hereunder,
the perfoxnances of any act is xequtred, prohibited, o
declared to be unlawful, and a Vefinits fine or penalty
is not provided for a violation thereof, any person, firm
anyorporation, who shall be convicted of?a violation of
such section shall, for each offense, be flood the sum
of net more than E£neeee-amewe)t0$ 0.00 or shall be both
o fired and so imprisoned. each day violation shall
constitute a separate offense. The suspension or revocation
of a" license, certificate, permit or
other privilege,
conferred by this jurisdiction, shall not be regarded as a
