FdAT Chapter A of the Ordinances of the City of Bangor be amended by
the addition of a Subsection 1.6 as follows:
1.6 Section H-400.4 is deleted and replaced with the
following;
Statement of Fact: The purpose of thin anceadmant is to and ify the
printed version of the Housing Code to conform with recent request&
by the president of ted United States that all thermostats be main-
tained at 65° Fahrenheit.

BANGOR HYDRO -ELECTRIC C@@ANy, a Maine corporation being duly authorized pursuant
to the State of Maine to generate, sell, distribute and supply electricity in City of
Bangor , County of Penobscot , State aforesaid, hereby applies for
a permit to authorize it to locate, construct and maintain certain of its facilities
hereinafter described upon, along, over, under and across certain Public nays situate
in the municipality hereinbefore referred tq

In accordance with the terns and conditions of Title 35, Section M82, MRSA as amended.
LOCATION: Beginning at an existing meMale owned by Bangor Hydro -Electric Company,
located near the southeasterly corner of Broad and Washington (SH26);
thence proceeding northerly along the easterly aide of Broad Street
approximately 20 feet; chance perpendicularly access Washington Street
(SH26) to the northeast corner of Washington (SH26) and Broad; chance
continuing northerly along the easterly side of Broad Street for an
additional distance of approximately 70 feet. (See Attached Plan M-3067)
DESCRIPTION
The facilities will consist of a line of vires and (or) -cables, hereinafter
described, upon, along, war, across and under certain Public ways Situated in the
municipality hereinbefore referred to and the right to place and maintain underground
laterals, conduits, manholes, handholes, cable and vires in, along, under and stress
the above or intersecting public ways for the purpose of making connections with Such
poles and Buildings as it may desire for distributing purposes together with associated
appurtenances. The wires and (or) cables will be buried within the limits of the public

Upon the application of BANGOR HYDRO-ELECTRSC COMPANY dated April 13 ,'19 71,
requesting pemission to locate certain of its facilities hereinafter described upon
along, under ao
and a certain public ways in City of Bangor , County of
Penobscot , State of Maine all as set forth in its application, n wspaper
publication having been made by applicant i connection with said application. Per-
mission is hereby given to said Bangor Hydro -Electric Company to locate, construct and
maintain certain of its facilitieshereinafter described upon, along, over, under and
across certain public ways situate in said municipality as hereinafter set forth. This
permit is granted subject to the provisions that any person, firm or corporation owning
property within the subject municipality which abuts the applicable way ;may file objec-
tions with the Municipal Officers — City of Bangor , Maine, within
ninety (90) days after the installation of the facilities described in said application,
said written abjection to state the caof abjection and to be served upon said
Bangor Hydro -Electric Company in hand oreby registered or certified mail..

pales and buildings as it may desire for distributing purposes together with associated
appurtenances. Me wires and (or) cables will be buried within the limits of thepublicway,but outside the part thereof customarily used for travel by vehicles. Me initial
operation of the facilities will be at 12470 volts, three phase; the voltage will be
increased as occasion therefor requires for operation not in excess of 20 KV, to ground.
