_ THAT the zoning boundary lines as established by the Zoning Map of the
City of Bangor dated September 23, 1974, as amended, be hereby further
amended ad follows:
By changing a parcel /of lend at .575 Said Street from Residential 5 zone
to the Commercial oe. Said parcel containing approximately
11,220 square feet add more particularly indicated on the map attached
and made a part hereof. -

Please be advised that the Planning Board held a public Hearing on
the above request on September 6, 1977.
The Planning Board gave careful consideration to the request and
to the proposed use. The Hard considered the comments of those opposed
to such a change and the effects of a change to the Commercial 3 sane.
After consideration of the effects on the area, the relationship of
the proposal to the Comprehensive Plan, the. Planning Board voted
unanimously to approve a change of coning from Residential 5 to Commercial
1 at the subject location.

The CITY.of BANGOR,a body corporate, located at Bangor,
Penobscot County, Maine, for consideration paid, releases t0
STERN - HILT HOMES, INC.,a corporation having a principal place
of business at Hampden, Penobscot County, Maine, the land in
Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine, to wit:

Hereby conveying any interest acquired by the inhabitants
of the City of Bangor under Tax Lien Certificate against
Anna C. Mooney, recorded.in Penobscot County Registry
of Deeds as follows:
1967 taxes recorded in Vol. 2129, Page 742.
The said Anna C. Mooney deceased intestate February
3, 1968 leaving as her only heirs-at-law James Rooney,
Elizabeth R. Pooler, James J. Mooney, Margaret M.
Yargates, David J. Mooney, Frances M. Coffin, and Anna
R. Hackett. The said Anna R. Hackett subsequently
deceased November 6, 1968 intestateleaving as her only
heirs-at-law Paul J. Hackett, Peter H. Hackett and
C. Thomas Hackett. All of the heirs of Anna C. Mooney
and Anna R. Hackett conveyed their interests in the
above premises to Stern Hilt Homes, Inc. by deed dated
May, 1962, and recorded in Penobscot Registry Of Deeds
in Vol. 2159, Page 864.
The City of Bangor has caused this instrument to be
signed and sealed in its corporate name by John G. Field, its
Deputy Finance Director, duly authorised, this day of

We, the undersigned, firmly object to the proposal of a Variance to
convert a single family dwelling to a grocery/superette at 575 renin
Street with lot frontage of 52 feet in lieu of required 60 feet in a Come
Commercial 1 Zone. The traffic in and out of March Street (March
Street exit/entrance to/from Mein Street serving Catell Street, also)
is hazardous at present with flow of traffic to interstate entrance.
