ORDERED,
TUT the attached report of the City Engineer showing the
estimated costs, together with a list of possible assessments,
for the extension of sanitary sewer service on Burleigh Road
for a distance of approximately 2,000 feet east of Broadway
be and hereby is accepted, and be it further
ORDERED, that construction begin as soon as possible, and
be it further -
ORDERED, that the sum of Thirty-three Thousand Dollars
($33,000.00) be transferred from the Reserve for Future
Construction Fund - Sewers to cover the cost of said construc-
tion.

To the Municipal Officers: June 3, 1977
Reference is made to City Council Order No. 108 AE passed
January 24th, 197% directing the City Engineer to make a cost
study for the extension of sanitary sewer service on Burleigh
Road. -Surveys, Plans and cost estimates have been completed,
which would provide for the following:
The proposed installation would consist of 29000 feet of
8 inch pipe and 6 manholes, extending in an easterly direction
on Burleigh Road from the existing sewer on Broadway.
The total estimated cost of the sewer extension is
$33,000.00, of which the City would pay 50%, or $169500.00,
and the remaining amount would be assessed proportionately
against the properties benefited, as follows:

Since a large proportion of the property owners are in favor
of the proposed sewer installation, and since there is evidence
that certain of the existing properties have experienced severe
septic tsn]c problemsg it is recommended that the sewer be con-
structed.. Plana of the proposed sewer installation are on file
in the office of the City Engineer.
