This revision was effected with the cooperation of the property oweer, Mr. Wivchell and a second public hearing was held on June!, 1977• No opposition was voiced to the eberge after a full discussion of the °reasons behind it. The revised Starulpipe Historic District vc®passesnthree National Register Landmarks as well as each attractive open apace. AS each it is one of the most distinguished historic districts in the nation. A public: Learing was held on June 29, 1977 regarding the revised Broadway Historic District. Has and more Concise boundaries were proposed following a walking tear by the Commission on June 12, necessitating this second public hearing. Only one resident objected to being designated: but since his property is one of the great mansions and an integral part of the district: the Commission could not agree with its excluaion. As it is now defined, the Sroadwsy Historic District represents in the beet sense a true Picture of the residential area developed by Danger's leading Citizens and limber barmen of the nineteenth and early twentieth sectarian. The Commission enthusiastically supports these two designations and requests that the Council pass CCwu 11 rdinance 28W.. MAP D l4 RP SAN CIJAN OL 66....;.x..,........
