A public hearing was held oa June 29, 1q9 cagacdiag the proposed
aesignstion of 44 Charles Street. At that hearing, the owner requested that
his application for designation be vithdrava. Because the own r, Mr. Haney,
initiated the designation process, awi because the house, Mile being a',Obk4
example of its type is net considered by the State Historic Preservation
Officer to be of exceptional merit, the Comeission requests thet the Council
indefinitely postpone Council Ordin,,ce 28UE.
