This Resolve will authorize the City Manager to appropriate $1,085,900 from airport reserves to purchase a replacement passenger boarding bridge (PBB). The Council recently approved the application, acceptance, and appropriation of funds for the airport's PFC program to replace (3) passenger boarding bridges. Upon further inspection of the existing PBB's, gate 5 is in much worse condition than originally determined. Through this Resolve, these funds will be utilized to purchase a second PBB, and for additional costs to include design, engineering, testing and construction services, to replace the existing bridge on gate 5. The airport will reimburse its reserve account as PFC's are collected. Finance Committee 05/03/2021 Recommend for passage 50 Staff recommends approval. The airport will reimburse its reserve account as PFC's are collected.
