Title, Resolve
Appropriating Funds in the Amount of $1,085,900 from Airport Reserves to Purchase and Install a
Replacement Passenger Boarding Bridge.
This Resolve will authorize the City Manager to appropriate $1,085,900 from airport reserves to
purchase a replacement passenger boarding bridge (PBB). The Council recently approved the
application, acceptance, and appropriation of funds for the airport's PFC program to replace (3)
passenger boarding bridges. Upon further inspection of the existing PBB's, gate 5 is in much worse
condition than originally determined. Through this Resolve, these funds will be utilized to purchase a
second PBB, and for additional costs to include design, engineering, testing and construction
services, to replace the existing bridge on gate 5. The airport will reimburse its reserve account as
PFC's are collected.
