The above described right -o£ -way was laid out and accepted as a public way on September 14, 1897, and is more fully described in City of Bangor Road Book 3, Page 240. Nut Street A 20 foot wide right-of-way extending between Hazel Street and Boyd Street, the northerly line of which intersects the centerline of Hazel Street 320.96 feet north from the northerly line of Hancock Street; thende in an easterly direction from the easterly line of Hazel Street a distance of 134.95 feet to the westerly line of Boyd Street. Said right-of-way was laid out 20 feet wide measuring south from the above described line. Nut Street was never accepted as a public way, and is shown on the Official City Map as an unaccepted street. Carr Street A 39.5 foot wide right-of-way extending between Hancock Street and York Street, the easterly line of which is located 179.9 feet west from the westerly line of Hazel Street, as measured along the northerly right-of-way line of Hancook Street; thence in a northerly direction along said easterly line a dis- tance of 410 feet. Carr Street was laid out and established as a public way on February 2t 1852, said laying out more fully described in City of Bangor Road Book 2, Page 133. Patrick Street A 30 foot wide right-of-way extending between Hancock Street and York Street, the easterly line of which is located 190.10 feet west from the westerly right-of-way line of Carr Street, as measured along the northerly right-of-way line of Hancock Street; thence in a northerly direction along said easterly line a distance of 374 feet to the southerly right- of-way line of York Street. St. Michael's Court was never established as a public way, and is shown on the Official City Map as an unaccepted street. No person or persons appeared at the time and place set for the hearing. Since all of the land abutting the above mentioned Streets has been acquired by the Community Develop- ment Department, and since it is the intent of Community Development to redevelop the entire area encompassed by York Street, Boyd Street, Hancock Street and Essex Street into one redevelopment parcel, thereby no longer requiring the further use of the above mentioned Streets, and whereas the discontinu- Moe of said Streets will not affect general public travel, it is recommended that said Streets be discontinued and vacated, and that they be removed from the Official City Map. It is further recommended that no damages be paid to any party as a result of said discontinuance. Respectfully submitted, pun T.'Frawley, City Engineer
