To the Municipal Officers:
Pursuant to a previous request from Warren C. Sawyer to
determine the cost of constructing the streets and sewers within
the College Park Subdivision, a previously approved Subdivision
on land adjacent to Husson Avenue, the following report is subs
mitted:
The work will include the construction of two dead-end
streets, temporarily referred to. ad 'A' Street and 'B' Street,
Add the installation of a sanitary sewer to serve certain lots
within the Subdivision. The scope of the work to be performed
and the estimated costa thereof are as follows:
'A' Street
This street would extend for a distance of 255 feet savth-
east from Husson Avenue between Lots 13 and 14, and would consist
of a 24 foot wide travel way, including the cul-de-sac. The
pavement would consist of 3 inches of bituminous concrete on an
18 inch gravel base. The roadway would have a sod edge, and all
disturbed areas would be provided with 3 inches of loam and seed.
The total estimated construction cost is $12,600.00. In
accordance with our City Ordinances, the City would pay $5.25
per foot of length, or $1,340.00, resulting in a net coat to the
Developer of $11,260.00.
'B' Street
This street would extend for a distance of 290 feet south-
east from Husson Avenue between Lots 19 and 27, end the construc-
tion would be basically the same as for !A' Street, described above.
The total estimated construction coat is $13,000.00. The
City's share would be $1,520.00, with the Developer's share
being $11,480.00.
Sanitary Sewer .
The remaining sanitary sewer to beconstructed to serve
Lots 7, 16, 17 and 18 consists of 305 feet. of 8.inch pipe end
one manhole. The total estimated cost of construction is
$5,500.00. 0£ this amount the City would pay 50%, and the
Developer's coat would be $2,750.00. .. ...

The Developer has been advised that it will be necessary
for him to pay his estimated share of the cost in advance. Hr.
Sawyer has agreed to the estimates of coat and has agreed to
pay in advance. He was further advised that it would be necessary
for him to complete the installation of water lines prior to the
construction of the roadways.
It is recommended that the construction of the streets and
the sewer be undertaken as soon as possible after receipt of
advance payment from the Developer.
Plane showing the construction of the streets arNe on file
