THAT the zoning boundary linea as established by the Zoning Map
of the City of Bangor dated September 23, 1974, as amended, be
hereby further amended as follows:
By changing parcels 8f land located at 645, 679, 689, 701, 705,
and 715 Union Street ( Tax Map 10, part of Parcels No. 11, 32, 33,
45, 46, and 71) from Residential 4 Zone to Residential 1 Zone. Said
parcels containing approximately 64,032 sq, ft. and more particularly
indicated on the map attached hereto and made a part hereof.
STATEMENT OF FACT: This amendment is to correct
conflicts which exist in Official Zoning Maps.

Action for a zoning change will be initiated with the Bangor City Council and
referred to the Bangor Planning Board. Statutes require a Public Hearing before the
Plsmdng Board, after a public advertising (at least 10 days prior to such public
hearing), for all changes to the string ordinance of the City of Bangor. The re-
commendation of the Planning Board is then returned to the Bangor City Council for
final action.
Requested zone change is to correct a conflict in the Official
Zoning Maps.

After careful consideration of the nature of the area, and
its proposed use in the Comprehensive Plan the Board voted five
in favor and none opposed to recomoend approval of the above
Zoning Map clarification amendment.
