Be it ordaimd by W City Gemmed of City ofBanpm, a Ibyome:
THAT the zoning boundary lines as established by the Zoning Map
of. the City of Bangor dated September 23, 1974, as amended, be
hereby further amended as follows:
By changing a parcel of land located fifty feet on both sides of
the stream north of Young and State Streets (Tax Map R-71, Part of
Parcels 31, 32, 33, & 34) from Residential 1 Zone to Park and Open
-Space Zone. Said parcel containing approximately 70,000 sq. £t..
and more particularly indicated on the map attached hereto and made .
a part hereof.
STATEMENT OF FACT: This amendment is to correct conflicts
which. exist in Official Zoning Maps.

Action for a whims Change will be initiated with the Bangor City Council end
referred to the Batgor Planing Board. Statutes require a Public Hearing before the
Planning Board, after a public advertising (at least 10 days prior to such public
hearing), for all changes to the caning ordinance of the City of Bangor. The re-
commendation of the Planning Beard is then returned to the Batgor City Council for
final action.
Requested zone change is to correct a conflict in the Official Zoning
Naps.

Please be advised that the Planning Board at its regularly
scheduled meeting on January 2, 1979, held a publichearing on
the above request.
After careful consideration of the nature of the area, and
its proposed use in theComprehensivePlan, the Board voted five
n favor and none opposed to recommend approval of the above
Zoning Map clarification amendment.
