THAT the zoning boundary lines asestablished by the Zoning Map
of the City of Bangor dated September 23, 1974, as amended, be
hereby further amended as follows:
Ey changing a parcel of land located on Valley Avenue (Tax Map Co.
19, Part of Parcels l0A and 7) from Residential 1 Zane to Park and
Open Space Zone. Said parcel containing approximately 4.5 acres
and more particularly indicated on the map attached hereto and made
a part hereof.
STATEMENT OF PACT: This amendment in to correct conflicts which
exist in Official Zoning Maps.

Action for a zoning change will be initiated with the Banger City Council and
referred to the Bangor Planning Board. Statutes require a Public Hearing before the
Planning Board, after a public advertising (at least 10 days prior to such public
hearing), for all charges to the zoning ordinance of the City of Bangor. The re-
commendation of the Planning Board is than returned to the Bangor City Council for
final action.
Requested zone change is to correct a conflict in the Official
Zoning Maps.

Please be advised that the Planning Board at its regularly
scheduled meeting on December 18, 1978, held a public hearing
on the above request.
After careful consideration of the nature of the area and
its proposed use in the Comprehensive Plan the Board voted five.
in favor and none opposed to recommend approval of the above
clarifying Zoning Nap Amendment.
