THAT the zoning boundary lines as established by the Zoning Map of the City of
Bangor dated September 23, 1974, as amended, be hereby further amended as
follows:
By changing parcels of land located on Griffin Road (Tax Map R-23, Parcels No.
21, 22, 23, and part of Parcels 21A, 25B, 25, and 25A) from Agricultural Zone,
Park and Open Space Zane and Residential 3 Zone to Residential 1 Zone and from
Agricultural Zone, and Park and Open Space Zone to Residential 3 Zone. Said
Parcels being more particularly indicated on the map attached hereto and made a
Part hereof.
STATEMTT OF FACT: This amendment is to correct eodplicts abich
exist in Official Zoning Maps.

Action for a zoning charge will be initiated with the Bangor City Council and
referred W the Bangor Planning Board. Statutes require a Public Hearing before the
Planning Board, after a public advertising (at least 10 days prior W such public
hearing), for all changes W the saning ordinance of the City of Bangor. The re
o®endation of the Planning Board it then returned to the Bangor City Council for
final action.
Requested zone change is to correct a conflict in the Official Zoning
Maps.

Please be advised that the Planning Board at its regularly
scheduled meeting on January 15, 1979, held a public hearing on
the above request.
After careful consideration of the nature of the area, and
its proposed use in the Comprehensive Plan the Board voted five
in favor and none opposed to recommend approval ofthe above Zoning
Map clarifying amendment.
