Authorizing the City Manager to Execute a Memorandum of Understanding with Maine Mental Health
Connection's Together Place to receive up to $7,200 from the State of Maine Overdose Response Pilot Grant
to employ a Recovery Coach to support the project.
This Order would authorize the City Manager to execute a Memorandum of Understanding on behalf
of the City of Bangor with Maine Mental Health Connection's Together Place Peer Recovery Center.
Together Place will receive up to $7,200 from the State of Maine-funded Overdose Response Pilot
grant to provide recovery coaching services for people served under the grant. Staff from the Public
Health & Community Services Department will provide technical assistance, support, and monitoring.
This MOU will begin on May 1, 2021 and end on December 31, 2021.

Be it Ordered by the City Council of the City of Bangor that,
The City Manager is authorized to execute a Memorandum of Understanding with Maine Mental Health
Connection's Together Place Peer Recovery Center ("Together Place") under which the City will provide
funding in an amount of up to $7,200 from the State of Maine funded Overdose Response Pilot grant and
Together Place will employ a recovery coach to support the Overdose Response Pilot program.
