APPLIGhTION FOR UTILITY LOCATION PERMIT
BANGOR HYDRO -ELECTRIC CUMANY, a Maine corporation having its principal place of
business at Bangor, County of Penobscot, State of Mine, being duly authorized pur-
ant to the laws of the State of Mine to generate, sell, distribute and supply
electricity in the City of Bangor, County of Penobscot, State of Maine, hereby applies
for a permit to authorise it to locate, c mmtruct and maintain certain of its facili-
ties, hereinafter described, upon, along, under, o and across certain public ways
situate in the municipality hereinbefore referred for
Any person, firm or orporation claiming to be adversely affected by the proposed
locations described herein, shall file a written objection with municipal officers,
City of Bangor, stating the cause of said objection within 14 days after the date of
this publication.
LOCATION:
Beginning at an existing underground duct system owned by
Bangor Hydro -Electric Company, located on the northerly
aide of Central St_: thence proceeding northeasterly from
30 Central Street, approximately 30 feet along the sidewalk
to 34 Central Street as shown in Sketch No. AP12779.
DESCRIPTION:
Me facilities will consist of an underground ductline, manhole, wires and/or
cables, together with associated appurtenances and switching equipment. the minima
depth to the top of the ductline will be approximately 18 inched. Me duedline will
be constructed within the limits of the public way, but outside the part thereof
customarily used for travel of vehicles insofar as possible. Me initial operation
of the facilities will be at 120/240 volts single phase; the voltage will be increased
as occasion therefor requires for operation not in excess of 20 RV, to ground,

UTILITY LOCATION PERMIT
Upon the application of BANGOR HYDRO -ELECTRIC CMANY dated December 7, 1979
requesting permission to locate certain of its facilities hereinafter described upon,
along,and across certain public ways in City of Bangor, County of Postulator,
State ofover
Maine, all as set forth in its application, it appears that public notice
thereof will be givenbypublishing the text of said application on December lj, 1979,
in Bangor Gaily News, an wspaper circulated in the aforesaid municipality; that
within 14 days after theaforesaid publication, no written objection to the granting
of said application has been filed with this licensing authority by any person, firm
or corporation claiming to be adversely affected by the location described in the
application referred to. wherefore permission is hereby given to said Bangor Hydro
Electric Company to locate, construct and maintain certain of its facilities herein-
after described upon, along, over and across certain public ways situate in this
municipality as follows;

Beginning at an existing underground duct system owned by
BANGOR HYDRO-MCTRIC COMPAM4, located on the northerly
aide of Central St.; thence proceeding northeasterly from
30 Central Street approximately 30 feet along the sidewalk
to 34 Central St. as shown in Sketch No. AP12779.
