ORDBBED,
THAT the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed, on behalf
of the City of parent, to execute a release of the City'sinterests in a
right of way between Olive Street and Main Street to Lydon parent, of
Forgot, Maine.
Statement of Fact: The purpose of this Order is to authorize the
execution of a release deed conveying any remaining interest of the
City of Badger in the strip of land between Main Street and Olive
Street. By virtue of Council Order 66 AN the City Council discontinued
its Interest in the right of way. Mr. Parent is the owner Of all
property on both aides of the streets. However, for purposes of the
record, he has requested, in addition, a deed from the City.

MUNICIPAL OOITCL m DEED
The CITY OF BANGOR, a body corporate, located at Sensor, County
of Penobscot, State of Melee, for consideration paid, releasee to LYD¢i C.
PARENT, of Bangor, County of Penobscot, State of Maine, a fifty -foot wide
right-of-way extending in a southeasterly direction from Olive Street to
Main Street, more fully described as follows;
Beginning at a point on the southeasterly right-
of-way line of Olive Street 421.27 feet southwest
from the southwesterly right-of-way line of Thatcher
Street, said point also being at the northwesterly
comer
of land owned by Lydon C. Parent as described
In a
Deed dated November 19, 1976 and recorded in
Penobscot Registry of Deeds in Vol. 2706, Page 17;
thence southeasterly at n interior angle of 94" 551
along., the southwesterly line of said Parent land for
a distance of 317.94 feet to the northwesterly right -
Of -way line Of Main Street; thence southwesterly at an
interior angle of 91° 22' along the northwesterly right-
of-way line of Hain Street for a distance of 50.01 feet;
thence in a northwesterly direction on a line parallel
to, and so feet southwest from the first described line
for a distance of 323.36 feet to the southeasterly right-
of-way line of Olive Street; thence northeasterly along
said southeasterly line of Olive Street for a distance
of 50.18 feet to the point of beginning. Being the same
right-of-way as shown on a Plan entitled "Plan of Land
belonging to the Estate of the Late Timothy Crosby, as
Plotted from Survey and Deeds, October 10th, 1873 by
Fred. H. Coombe" as recorded in Penobscot Registry of
Deeds in Plan Book4,Page 9.
EXCEPTING AND RESERVING however a public easement to
operate, maintain and replace any portions of an
existing sewer extending from Olive Street to Main
Street.
Being the same premises described a "proposed street"
which has been discontinued by order of the Bangor City
Council dated January S. 1979 and recorded in the
Penobscot Registry of Deeds. The above description of
said proposed street is the same as set forth by the
City Engineer in his report made pursuant t0 order of
the Bangor City Council dated,Decmber 11, 1978.
The said CITY OF BANGM has caused this instrument to be
sealed with its corporate seal and signed in its corporate name by
John G. Field, its Deputy Finance Director thereunto duly Authorized,
this day of A.D. 1979.
