ORDERED,
THAT WHEREAS, the City Council has previously authorized
the relocation of a portion of the so-called Meadowbrook Sewer
west of Stillwater Avenue to replace a section of the existing
sewer across the property of Adco Surgical Supply Co., Inc., and
WHEREAS, it will be necessary to obtain Easements for the
proposed relocation of the sewer on the adjacent property owned
by Anne J. Brown and Mildred J. Ames,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it
ORDERED, That the City Engineer, acting for and on behalf
of the Municipal Officers according tolaw, be and hereby is
directed to lay out and acquire Easements to permit the construc-
tion and future maintenance of said Meadowbrook Sewer relocation
across said land of Anne J. Brown and Mildred J. Ames, as
described in a Deed recorded in the Penobscot Registry of Deeds
in Volume 23309 Page 184, in the general location described as
follows:
Beginning at a point on the westerly line of Stillwater
Avenue approximately 70 feet north from the southerly line of
said property; thence in a westerly direction for a distance of
134 feet, more or less, to a point located 10 feet north from
the southerly line of said property, and 125 feet, more or less,
west from the westerly line of Stillwater Avenue; thence in a
northwesterly direction along a line parallel to and 10 feet
north from said southerly property line for a distance of 217.5
feet to a point, end thence in a southwesterly direction along
a line parallel to, and 20 feet distant from, the northwesterly
line of said property for a distance of 11 Peet, more or less,
to the southerly line of said property. The proposed Easement
is to replace an existing sewer Easement across the subject
property, as described in Penobscot Registry of Deeds in Volume
1351, Page 344; and be it further

ORDERED, That the City Engineer proceed to give notice
of such intention of said Municipal Officers according to law
by posting such notices for seven (7) days in two (2) public
places in the City of Bangor and in the vicinity of the proposed
sewer right-of-way; and the City Engineer is further
CRDERED, to make a written return of said proceedings
containing the bounds and admeasurements of said sewer right-
of-way, and the damages allowed to any person or persons as a
result of said laying out, all in accordance with the laws of
the State of Maine.
