THAT the zoning boundary lines as established by the Zoning Map of
the City of Bangor dated September 23, 1974, as amended, be hereby
further amended as follows:
By changing a parcel of land located on Burleigh Road (Tax Map No.
R-40, Parcel No. 5) from Residential 1 Zone to Residential 3 Zone.
Said parcel containing approximately 18 acres and being more parti-
cularly indicated on the map attached hereto and made a part hereof.

Action for a zoning change will be initiated with the. Bangor City Council and
referred to the Bangor Planning Board. Statutes require a Public Hearing before the
Planning Board, after a public advertising (at least 10 days prior to such public
hearing), for an changes to the zoning ordinance of the City of Bargue. The re-
co®endation of the Plamdng Board is then returned to the Bangor City Council for
final action.. I_

Please be advised that the Planning Board at its regularly scheduled
meeting on April 7, 1980, held a public hearing on the above request.
After careful consideration of the nature of the area, and Its proposed
a in the Comprehensive Plan the Board voted five In favor and none opposed
to recommend approval of the above zone change request with the limltation that
the zone change not apply to the 66 foot wide strip between the 18 acre parcel
and Burleigh Road.
