HomeMy WebLinkAbout2012-12-26 13-049 ORDERCOUNCIL ACTION Item No. 13-049 Date: December 26, 2012 Item/Subject: ORDER, Authorizing a Lease with Ntension Corporation at 110 Hildreth St. Responsible Department: Community and Economic Development Commentary: Ntension Corporation wishes to lease 9,000 sq. ft. of space in the City of Bangor's building at 110 Hildreth Street, Bangor. Ntension Corporation is a manufacturer of tension fabric structures used primarily in exhibitions and trade shows. The lease would be from December 27, 2012 until June 27, 2013 at a rate of $2,250 monthly. Both parties are able to terminate the agreement with thirty (30) days written notice. Basic utilities and maintenance will be provided by the City. Staff recommends approval of the lease agreement under the terms and conditions outlined above. Order, Authorizing a Lease with Ntension Corporation at 110 Hildreth St. WHEREAS, the City proposes to enter into an Indenture of Lease with the Ntension Corporation: NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BANGOR THAT, the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into an Indenture of Lease with Ntension Corporation to lease 9,000 sq. ft. of 110 Hildreth Street from December 27, 2012 until June 27, 2013 at a rate of $2,250 monthly. Both parties have the right to terminate the agreement with thirty (30) days written notice. Basic utilities and maintenance will be provided by the City. The lease agreement will be substantially with these terms and conditions, and in a final form approved by the City Solicitor or Assistant City Solicitor.
