Date: November 26, 2012
Item/Subject: Order, Authorizing the City Manager to Execute Agreements
with Husson University and Eastern Maine Community College for
Community Connector Transit Service
Responsible Department: Executive
Commentary: This Order would approve agreements with Husson University and
Eastern Maine Community College for Community Connector transit service. These are
renewal contracts with both institutions and the terms and conditions of the agreements
will remain the same other than moving the dates forward for another year. All parties to
the agreements are satisfied and pleased with the arrangements, which have proven
beneficial for the City and both institutions. A similar service agreement is also in place
with the University of Maine.
This was reviewed and recommended for approval by the Government Operations
Committee on November 19, 2012.
