Lusk DATE: August 5, 2016 RE: Attached Penobscot Metro Chart on Driving Distances of Active and Inactive Patients Council, We attach a chart provided to us by Colonial Management Group ("CMG")that sets forth driving distances for both active and inactive patients. Active Patients Among its features,the active patient chart shows that, of the 296 patients: • 71 reside within 0-5 miles, or 24% of the total; • 57 reside within 5-10 miles, or 19%of the total current patient load, with an aggregate of 43.2% living within 10 miles of the clinic; • 33 reside within 10-15 miles, or 11% of the total current patient load, with an aggregate of 54.4% living within 15 miles of the clinic; • 27 reside within 15-20 miles, or 9%of the total current patient load, with an aggregate of 63.5% living within 20 miles of the clinic; • 18 reside within 20-25 miles, or 6% of the total current patient load, with an aggregate of 69.6% living within 25 miles of the clinic; • 19 reside within 25-30 miles, or 6%of the total current patient load, with an aggregate of 76.0% living within 30 miles of the clinic; • 22 reside within 30-35 miles, or 7%of the total current patient load, with an aggregate of 83.4% living within 35 miles of the clinic; • 11 reside within 35-40 miles, or 4%of the total current patient load, with an aggregate of 87.2% living within 40 miles of the clinic; 1 0 8 1 7 2 2 0 . 1 • 10 reside within 40-45 miles, or 3%of the total current patient load, with an aggregate of 90.5% living within 45 miles of the clinic; • 8 reside within 45-50 miles, or 3%of the total current patient load, with an aggregate of 93.2% living within 50 miles of the clinic; • 20 reside within 50-100 miles, or 7%of the total current patient load, with an aggregate of 100.0% living within 100 miles of the clinic. Inactive Patients The chart also reports on the inactive patients, for which data is available—CMG believes this covers the last four to five years. Of these 1,176 patients, this shows that: • 381 resided within 0-5 miles, or 32% of the total; • 164 resided within 5-10 miles, or 14%of the total inactive patient load, with an aggregate of 46.3% living within 10 miles of the clinic; • 75 resided within 10-15 miles, or 6% of the total inactive patient load, with an aggregate of 52.7% living within 15 miles of the clinic; • 70 resided within 15-20 miles, or 6%of the total inactive patient load, with an aggregate of 58.7% living within 20 miles of the clinic; • 50 resided within 20-25 miles, or 4% of the total inactive patient load, with an aggregate of 62.9% living within 25 miles of the clinic; • 88 resided within 25-30 miles, or 7%of the total inactive patient load, with an aggregate of 70.4% living within 30 miles of the clinic; • 75 resided within 30-35 miles, or 6% of the total inactive patient load, with an aggregate of 76.8% living within 35 miles of the clinic; • 61 resided within 35-40 miles, or 5% of the total inactive patient load, with an aggregate of 82.0% living within 40 miles of the clinic; • 40 resided within 40-45 miles, or 3% of the total inactive patient load, with an aggregate of 85.4% living within 45 miles of the clinic; • 24 resided within 45-50 miles, or 2%of the total inactive patient load, with an aggregate of 87.4% living within 50 miles of the clinic; • 115 resided within 50-100 miles, or 10% of the total inactive patient load, with an aggregate of 97.2%living within 100 miles of the clinic. • 33 resided greater than 100 miles from the clinic, or 3%of the total inactive patient load, with an aggregate of 100.0% living at greater than 100 miles from the clinic. - 2 - 1 0 8 1 7 2 2 0 . 1 We trust this narrative helps to clarify the attached chart and the 2 maps.
