Update: FY21 Paving Projects John Theriault & Eric Willett outlined the Fiscal Year 21 Paving Program with a completion date (weather dependent) of approximately November 1, 2020. Fourteen streets to be carried over from the FY20 Paving Program, to be paved by approximately July 1, 2020. Vote: No vote necessary, informational only. 2. MDOT Agreement: WIN #024623.00, Small Harbor Improvement Program (SHIP) Replacement of Docks at the Bangor Waterfront John Theriault outlined that the grant was for replacement of 30 year-old Docks 2 & 3 on Front Street, southerly of Joshua Chamberlain Bridge. Along with dock replacement, gangways, still arms, electric power pedestals and seasonal potable water would be included on each dock. Projected City cost $165,661.00, 50% of State funding. Vote: Motion made and seconded, unanimously. 3. MDOT Agreement: WIN #024591.00, Pedestrian Safety Improvements Along Joshua Chamberlain Bridge John outlined that the project was for ADA compliance and pedestrian safety along the Joshua Chamberlain Bridge, starting at Summer Street, along Union Street to Short Street. City cost $12,163.00 or 20% of State funding. Vote: No Vote necessary, previously approved and passed. 4. Discussion: MDOT Penobscot Bridge Corridor Improvements, Bangor #023114.00 & Brewer WIN #023112.00 John stated this was for four signals in Bangor and two in Brewer. Public Works would maintain for both sides. Bangor would draw up an agreement with Brewer for maintenance and their share of the costs. FY23 budget item. Vote: Motion made and seconded, unanimously.
