Ratifying the Acceptance of a $1,700 Donation from the Rotary Clubs of Bangor (Breakfast and Noon) and Old
Town, Supporting the Covid 19 Vaccination Efforts
As part of the Maine EMS vaccination plan, Bangor Fire Department and Public Health Department
needed a designated refrigerator used exclusively to house the covid 19 vaccine in order to maintain
the vaccine at a constant temperature of 35.6-46.4 degrees. Additionally, two iPads were needed to
support the necessary documentation of those receiving the vaccine in the weeks and months
ahead.
Local Rotarians saw that the Bangor Fire Department and the Public Health Department had an
immediate need for these items and offered to donate funds to support the vaccination efforts.
