HomeMy WebLinkAbout2020-12-28 21-059 Resolve 12/28/202021-059 12/28/2020 21-059 Community Connector Resolve N/A Title, Resolve Authorizing the City Manager to Accept and Appropriate $25,000 from the Maine Department of Transportation (MDOT) for an Analysis of Governance Structure of the Community Connector This Resolve would authorize the City Manager to Accept and Appropriate $25,000 from the Maine Department of Transportation (MDOT) to complete an analysis of the governance structure of the Community Connector. The City has contracted with RLS & Associates to provide analysis of the different administrative and governance structures and how those structures might facilitate growth and efficiency of the Community Connector transit system. At the conclusion of the analysis, RLS will provide the city with a recommendation on the best governance and/or administrative structure changes to enhance the long term growth and viability of the regional transit system. The total cost of this project is $27,976.08. The Maine Department of Transportation will fund $25,000 of the project and the city will be responsible for the remaining balance of $2,976.08. Be it Resolved by the City Council of the City of Bangor that, the City Manager is Authorized to Accept and Appropriate $25,000 from the Maine Department of Transportation (MDOT) for a Transit Structural Analysis.
