This Resolve authorizes the City Manager to accept and appropriate $154,815 from the University of New England. FY21 is year five of a five-year Maine Prevention Services grant to provide youth substance use prevention to residents of Penobscot County. These are federal funds, passed through the state of Maine to the University of New England who manages the Maine Prevention Services Substance Use Prevention Grants statewide.
