Authorizing Execution of Municipal Quitclaim Deed – Vacant Lot Located at Briarwood Drive Extension.
Real estate tax liens have matured on the property owned by Laurie-Ann McSorley, at Briarwood
Drive Extension. The outstanding charges due the City have been paid. Because the liens have
matured, a municipal quitclaim deed is required to release the City’s interest in the property.

Authorizing Execution of Municipal Quitclaim Deed – Vacant Lot Located at Briarwood Drive Extension.
Be it Ordered by the City Council of the City of Bangor that, Deborah A. Laurie, Finance Director, is hereby
authorized and directed, on behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal Quitclaim Deed releasing any
interest the City may have by virtue of undischarged real estate tax liens recorded in the Penobscot County
Registry of Deeds in Book 14871, Page 161 and Book 15174, Page 224. Said Deed shall be directed to
Laurie-Ann McSorley, and shall be in a final form approved by the City Solicitor or Assistant City Solicitor.
