1. Bids/Purchasing
a. Request to Waive Bid Process – Government/Education Channel Equipment Upgrade
– Information Services – Connectivity Point Design and Installation LLC - $25,089
Motion made and seconded to award contract to Connectivity Point Design and
Installation LLC, motion passed unanimously.
b. Request to Waive Bid Process – 20” Sinking Ball Check Valves – WWTP – Xylem -
$14,224
Motion made and seconded to award contract to Xylem, motion passed unanimously.
c. Request to Waive Bid Process – Deice Tanks Geopolymer Lining – Airport – Vortex -
$150,000
Motion made and seconded to recommend approval to City Council, motion passed
unanimously.
d. Request for Sole Source Purchase – Traffic Cabinet & Detection Equipment – Public
Works – Econolite - $30,219
Motion made and seconded to award contract to Econolite, motion passed unanimously.
e. Overhead Door Maintenance – City Wide – PDQ Door (three year service contract)
Motion made and seconded to award contract to PDQ Door, motion passed
unanimously.
f. FY 2021 Paving Program – Public Works – Northeast Paving - $1,091,696
Motion made and seconded to recommend approval to City Council, motion passed
unanimously.
g. Hogan Road Sidewalk Program – Engineering – Hughes Brothers - $265,244
Motion made and seconded to recommend approval to City Council, motion passed
unanimously.
h. Miller Street Drainage Project – Stormwater – Eastwood Contractors - $65,980
Motion made and seconded to award contract to Eastwood Contractors, motion passed
unanimously.
i. Broadway Curbing & Sidewalk – Engineering – Hughes Brothers & Lakeside Concrete
Cutting - $131,900 and $28,900
Motion made and seconded to recommend approval of contract to Hughes Brothers to
City Council and award contract to Lakeside Concrete Cutting, motion passed
unanimously.
