Authorizing the City Manager to Accept and Appropriate $50,000 in CARA Local Drug Crises funding from the
Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration for a One Year Grant Period Beginning July 1,
2020.
This order authorizes the City Manager to accept and appropriate $50,000 from the federal
Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. FY20 is the final year of a three-year
grant focused on reducing youth substance by working to reduce chronic absenteeism through a
partnership with the Bangor School Department.
