HomeMy WebLinkAbout2020-06-08 20-168 Order 06/08/202020-168 06/08/2020 20-168 Legal Order 039-002 Title, Order Authorizing Execution of Municipal Bill of Sale - Mobile Home Located at 5 D Street Tax liens have matured on the mobile home formerly owned by John Skinner, Jr. and Lucy Eaton and located at 5 D Street. Hingham Heights, LLC provided the City with a notarized Bill of Sale for the mobile from said John Skinner, Jr. and Lucy Eaton to said Hingham Heights, LLC. Hingham Heights, LLC also paid all charges due to the City on the mobile home. No loans are owed to the City that are secured by the mobile home, and there are no pending code enforcement issues with the mobile home. Hingham Heights, LLC intends to move the mobile home to Glenburn. Because the liens have matured, a municipal bill of sale is required to release the City’s interest in the mobile home. Recommend for passage Consent 06/08/202020-168 CITY OF BANGOR ORDER 06/08/2020 20-168 Hawes Authorizing Execution of Municipal Bill of Sale - Mobile Home Located at 5 D Street Be it Ordered by the City Council of the City of Bangor that, Deborah A. Laurie, Finance Director, is hereby authorized and directed, on behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal Bill of Sale releasing any interest the City may have in the mobile home located at 5 D Street by virtue of tax liens recorded in the Penobscot County Registry of Deeds in Book 15174, Page 202; Book 14871, Page 139; Book 13908, Page 161; and Book 13562, Page 288. Said Bill of Sale shall be directed to Hingham Heights, LLC, and shall be in a final form approved by the City Solicitor or Assistant City Solicitor.
