West of Boyd_, Street By 4u CHy CouwaH of Bm L✓h O(B6npOr: ORDERED, THAT WHEREAS, the Community Development program Redevelop- ment Plan for the York -Hancock Street Neighborhood Development program provides for the reconstruction and improvement of certain streets within the project area, including the widening of the Hancock Street right-of-way for a distance of approxi- mately 436 feet west from Boyd Street, said right-of-way to be reserved for the future widening of Hancock Street, NOW, THEREFORE, Be It ORDERED, THAT the City Engineer, acting for and on behalf of the Municipal Officers according to law, be and hereby is directed to lay Out b9 metes and bounds a widening of said Hancock Street right-of-way west of Boyd Street, said widening more fully described as follows: Beginning at a point at the intersection of the proposed new westerly right-of-way, line of Boyd Street and tha northerly right-of-way line of Hancock Street; thence North g5 20' 50" West for a distance. of 43.03 feet; thence South 69 15' 47" West for a distance of 171.92 feet to a point, being the point of curvature of a curve to the left having a radius of 665.15 feet; thence in a westerly direction along said curve for a distance of 267.43 feet to a point of intersection with the existingnortherlyright-of-way line of Hancock Street; thence North 67 53 431 East along said northerly right -0f -way line of Hancock Street for a distance of 435.76 feet to, the point ORDERED, THAT the City Engineer proceed to give notice of the intent of the Municipal Officers by posting such Notices for seven (7) days in two (2) public places in the City of Bangor and in the vicinity of the proposed right-of-way widening, and be it further ORDERED, THAT the City Engineer make a written return of said proceedings containing the bounds and admeasurements of said right-of-way widening and the damages allowed to any person or persons as a result of said laying out, all in accordance with the Laws of the State of Maine.
