ORDERED,
TEAT, WHEREAS, the financing of rehabilitation of privately owned properties
UcTough the use
of direct loans i an eligible activity for she of grant assistance
under Title Iof the Housing and Community Development Act of 1994, as amended; and
UMSEENS, the City of Chagos, in its applications for funds under
Title I of the Housing awl,Costmity Development Act, has requested had received
as part of its Community Development Program funds for the purposes of funding
Property Rehbilltatim Loans end Greats;
HHEREh9, a City of Bangor Continuity Development Property Rebebilitation
Loan Program has been developed which provides for the leaning of money to
rehabilitate privately awned properties in Co®unity Development program project
areas as designated by'Oider of the City Council of the City of Bulger; and
WHEREAS, ouch loans will be limited to the amount necessary, to
rehabilitate presperty,to the requir®ants of the Property Nai:ntenaace, Building,
Electrical,. Plumbing, and Fire Prevention Codes of the City of Bangor, azul in
conformance to Federal Cost Effective Energy Conservation Standards, and to the
extent that the property, after rehabilitation, will be in generally good and
readily maintainable condition with the necessary facilities in good working order

WOW, T16.BEFORE, BY TRE CITY CODWCIL OF THE CITY OF 1iAMOR, BE IT
ORDERED, THAT:
(1) The Continuity Development Property Rehabilitation Loan Progress,
a copy of which is on file with the City Clerk, is hereby approved awl adopted.
(2) Said Property Rehabilitation Loan Program Shall apply to govern
all Community Development rehabilitation loans made Subsequent to the effective
date of this Order.
