THAT the zoning boundary lines as established by the Zoning Map Of
the City of Bangor dated September 23, 1974, as amended, be hereby
7urther amended as follows:
By changing a parcel of land located on Fourteenth Street Extension and
Holland Street (Tax Map No.. R-35, Parcel NQ. 54 B) from Civic and
Institutional Zone to Residential 3 Zone./ Said parcel containing approx-
imately 3.Z9 acres and being more particularly indicated on the map
attached hereto and made a part hereof.

SUBJECT: Amending Zoning Ordinance
Fourteenth Street Extension and Holland Street
Council Ordinance No. 293 AH.
Please be advised that the Planning Board at its regularly
scheduled meeting on October 6, 1980, held a public hearing on the
above request.
After ca reful consideration of the nature of the area, and its
proposed use in the Comprehensive Plan the Board voted five in favor
and none opposed to reco®end the zone change request from Civic and
Institutional Zone to Residentical 3 Zone for approximately 3 acres
of the site. The Board also: votedfive in favor and nne opposed to
recommend that the remaining 3/lo-bf an. acre located on the corner of
Ohio Street and Fourteenth Street Extension be changed from Civic and
Institutional Zone to Residential 1 Zone.

Action for a wring change will be initiated with the Bangor City Council and
referred to the Bangor Planning Board. Statutes require a Public Hearing before the
F1anningg Board, after a public advertisi� (at least 10 days prior to such public
hearing), for all chargee to the caning ordinance of the City of Bangor. The re
commendation of the Planning Beard is then returned to the Bangor City Council for
final action.
