Flynn, City Manager, is hereby authorized and _ directed to execute Municipal Quitclaim Deeds, copies of which are on file in the office of the City Clerk, releasing any interest the City may have to certain property located between Norfolk and Grant Streets, being the former right -o£ -way of Lafayette Street as laid out and accepted as a public way on July 8, 1913 and later discontinued by City Council Order No. 137-S passed July 26 1965• Said Deeds shall be directed to Donald S. Hayes and Anne M. Hayes, Robert E. Patterson and Penny H. Patterson, and Sanford Miller. This is being done in exchange for easement Agreements to permit the extension of the sanitary sewer to Norfolk Street. CITY 0f g4MCQH QuitCleim Deeds - Lafayette street O�lY CL &fight -of Way Between Grant and Norfolk streets Introducedf/a fil by v 23] As cofat MUNICIPAL QUITCLAIM DEED KNOW ALL MIN BY THESE PRESENTS, That the CITY GY BANGOR, a body corporate located at Bangor in the County of Penobscot and State of Maine, in consideration of One Dollar and other valuable considerations paid by SAUPORD MILLER, of said Bangor, the receipt whereof it does hereby acknowledge, does hereby remise, release, bargain, sell and convey, and forever quitclaim unto the said SANFORD MILLER, his heirs and assigns forever, all its right, title and interest in and to the following described real estate situated at Bangor in the County of Penobscot, State of Maine, and more particularly described as follows: A certain lot or parcel of land, being a portion of the farms r right-of-way of Lafayette Street, bounded and described as follows, viz: Beginning at a point on the easterly right-of- way line of Norfolk Street 550 feet north from the northerly right-of-way line of Montgomery Street, said point being at the intersection of said right-of-way line with the northerly line of land owned by the Grantee, as described in a Deed dated November 29,.19`/4 and recorded in Penobscot Registry of Deeds in Vol. 2509, Page 282, said northerly line of the Grantee also being the southerly right-of-way line of Lafayette Street as originally laid out and accepted as a public way between Grant Street and Norfolk Street by the City CouncilonJuly 8, 1913; thence in an easterly direction along the northerly line of the Grantee for a distance of 85 feet, more or less, to the easterly line of land of said Grantee, being also.the westerly line of land now or formerly owned by Donald S. Hayes and Anne M. Hayes as described in a Deed recorded in Penobscot Registry of Deeds in Volume 2568, Page 1'I9; thence northerly at right angles to the last described line for a distance of 25 feet to a point, being the centerline of the former Lafayette Street right-of-way; thence in a westerly direction on a line parallel to, and 25 feet north from, the northerly line of the Grantee for a distance of -2- 85 feet, more or less, to the easterly right-of-way line of Norfolk Street; thence in a southerly direction along the easterly right-of-way line of Norfolk Street for a distance of 25 feet to the point of beginning.
