MEMORANDUM
TO: Members of the City Council
FROM: Albert L. Smith, III, Zoning h Code Enforcement Officer
SUBJECT: 182-184 Warren Street, Council Order d81-224
DATE: October 26, 1981
11 Please recall that this is property in the process of being demolish-
ed by the Bangor Rescue Mission. On September -14th, I asked that you
continue this matter such that it could be determined whether the Rescue
Mission would be able to complete the work as authorized under a recent
Building Permit for the demolition of the structure. The Rescue Mission
has been able to bring this structure down to the foundation and, I expect
within a week, should be able to complete the work. I therefore, am
recommending that you continue this matter to your next meeting. Should
this structure be razed at that point in time, I will ask that you inde£init,
1y postpone it. However, should we be in a position where the work has
not been completed, I will ask that you condemn the building and that we
continue the work to its conclusion.
