WNCRBAS, the Bangor City Council, in Its capacity as the Municipal Officers
of the City of Bangor, held a public hearing pursuant to 17 M.R.S.A. §g 2851 at
seq, to determine whether or not the building or structure located at 24 Carroll
Street, Bangor, Maine a lot described in a deed recorded in Volume 2240,
Page 280, Penobscot Registry of Deeds,and owned by Robert E. Talbot constitutes
a dangerous building within the meaning, of said statute; and
4MEREAS, based upon the evidence ptesented at said public hearing, the
Bangor City Council finds that the building or structure in question is
structurally unsafe; unstable; a fire hazard; un uitable or improper for
the use cupancy a rehiden a hazard to health o safety because of
Inadequate maintenance• dilapidation, obsolescence or abandonment, and dangerous
to the life and property of the inhabitants of the City of Bangor; and
WMgRBAS, the Bangor City Council hereby adjudges said building or
structure to be a nuisance and dangerous, as provided in Title 17 M.R,S.A.
§§ 2851 at seq.,
NOW, THEREFORE, By the, City Council of the City of Bangor:
OBDEBED, THAT said building or structure shall be disposed of
as follows:
[1] Said building or structure shall be demolished by the
property owner(s) within thirty (30) days of the date
of passage of this Order, said dewlltfon to be per-
formed in conforelty with the Less and Ordinances of
the City of Bangor; and
[2] In the event said building or structure is act
demolished within said thirty (30) days as provided
above, the City's Zoning and Cade Enforcement
Administration Officer may Cause

structure to be demolished, all expenses incurred

having Rove difficulty in pulling together the necessary evidence for the
hearing and, would ask at this thre fiat you request the Cai rcil to Minus
this matter W the first meeting in October. This will allm us sufficient
time to prepare the nernssary evidence relative to this Witter. Please
