Ratifying an Application for Passenger Shelter and Bus Boarding Facilities in the Amount of $396,800 Through
the Federal Transit Administration FY 2020 Competitive Funding Opportunity
This Resolve will ratify the submission of the application for $396,800 in funding under the Federal
Transit Administration, Bus Facilities Infrastructure Investment Program. The application was
submitted for passenger shelters and bus boarding areas on April 29, 2020. Under the terms of the
funding program, a local match of 20% is required for the Bus Stop and Bus Shelter Project.

Whereas; the Community Connector submitted an application for Passenger Shelter and Bus Boarding and
Alighting Areas under the Federal Transit Administration FY 2020 Competitive Funding Opportunity, and
Whereas; the application request will be for the program for bus shelters and bus boarding and alighting
areas, and
Whereas; under the terms of the funding program a local match of 20% for the bus stop and bus shelter
project
Be it Resolved by the City Council of the City of Bangor that, the City Manager is authorized to submit one
application for grant funding for the Bus Stop and Bus Shelter Project under the Federal Transit Administration
FY 20 Competitive Funding Opportunity.
