Resolution of Condemnation To Acquire By Eminent Domain Any and All Right, Title, Interest or Estate of Patrick Wall at als. in Property Located on Hancock Street, Bangor, Maine By Uw Cieq CmmeH Mote Cip ojEaagor RESOLVED, THAT the City of Bangor acquire by eminent domain, pur- suant to its duly adopted Community Development Program, all the right, title, interest or estate, legal or equitable, of Patrick Wall and all persons known and unknown Claiming under or through the aforesaid person') and owners unknown, or their heirs, devisees, legal representatives, successors, assigns, grantees, trustees in bankruptcy, receivers, disseizors, creditors, lienholders, and any and all other persons unascertained or not, in being or unknown, or out of the State, and all other persona who may claim any right, title, interest or estate, legal or equitable, in the within described premises. Said premises is more particularly described as follows: A certain lot or parcel of land situate in Bangor, Maine, and bounded and described as follows, viz: Beginning on the southerly line of Hancock Street at a point located at the northeast corner of a parcel of land described as the first parcel in a Warranty Deed from Israel Goldman and Hyman Lair to Jacob Rich dated July 1, 1915, and recorded in the Penobscot County Registry of Deeds in Volume 869, Page 121; thence southerly along theeasterly line of said Rich parcel for a distance of sixty (60) feet; thence easterly at an approximate right angle a distance of twenty-eight (28) feet; thence northerly at an approximate right angle a distance of sixty (60) feet to Hancock Street; thence westerly at an approximate right angle a distance of rwenty-nine (29) feet nine (9) inches to the point of beginning. Meaning and intending to describe a parcel identified as Lot No. 4 in the above -referenced Warranty Deed. The plan drawn by B. S. Deane re- ferred to therein cannot be located. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Bangor that the total amount of damages determined to be just compensation for the acquisition of the above-described property or interest therein is Due Dollar ($1.00) STATEMENT OF FACT: The purpose of this eminent domain action, pursuant to 4854, is to cure a possible defect in the description of the above-described property arising from the fact that the plan by B. S. Deane for Patrick Wall dated May 30, 1854, cannot be located to verify that the above-described parcel constitutes the "Lot No. 4" - referred to in the various deeds to the property.
