The purpose of this muoranRbvn of Understanding is to describe C1:e local municipal desires in requesting an MPJ designation which will carry out the oon timing roqr ^ts of the uibsnized transportation planning process, together with the State in order to he eligible to obtain capital transportation impo v rot funds. Specifically, the area as a minimm .will include the entire cities of Bangor -Brei and the Town of Veazie, along with Fortfore of the �i- palities of Haspdm, Omm and Old Town. 2, The MPJ will consist of a Policy and a Technical Canrdttee. the Policy Crnmittee will he the decision me" and policy -setting body and consist of the following merberships: city of Bangor, 9 votL marbers - City of Brewer, 2 voting members - City of Orono, 1 voting �ei - City of Old Town, 1 voting namber - Tom of Ham' n, 1 voting men�be - Town of Veazie, 1 voting member - Pastern Maine level.
