All work has been completed, as follows: The project consisted of the installation of 820 feet of 8 inch pipe and,3 manholes, terminating in the vicinity of the existing pump station serving the Maine Department of Transpor- tationDivisionOffice Building at the intersection of Hogan Road and Mount Hope Avenue.. The actual cost of the sewer installation was $15,011.95, which compares favorably to the original estimate of $17,230.00. Of this amount, the City would pay fifty percent, and the remain- ing $7,505.98 would be assessed against the properties benefitted, as follows: Property Owner Frontage Assessment EAST SIDE Qv Realty 198' $ 733.56 Ralph Dyer, Inc. 300' 1,111.45 Mount Hope Avenue 102' 377.89 right-of-way (Non -assessable) State of Maine (MOT) 810' 3,000.90 WEST SIDE State of Maine (EMVTI) 534' 1,97838 Mount Hope Avenue 82' 303.80 right-of-way (Non -assessable) Total $7,505.9a The State of Maine Department of Transportation prefunded their share, which was originally estimated to be $3,444.00; therefore, they would receive a refund of $443.10. It is recom- mended that the other assessments be levied as noted above. A Plan showing the actual sewer installation is on file in the Office of the City Engineer.
