Note is also made of the original overall length of 828 feet contained in Council Order 82-52, which is in error, and which should be approximately 849 feet. Said laying out is more fully shown on a Plan prepared by Plisga & Day, L.S., entitled "Final Subdivision Plans, Darling -Parke Subdivision, Bangor, Maine" for John B. Darling and George L. Parke dated May 29, 1980, accepted by the City Council of the City of Bangor on July 14, 1980, said Plan being recorded in the Penobscot Registry of Deeds. Said Plan identifies said roadway as "Woodview Drive", and it was later requested by the Developers, Mr. Darling and Mr. Parke, that the name be changed to "Darling Parke Drive".. And the City Engineer proceeded to lay out a grade for said roadway, as follows; ra Beginning at the southerly edge of pavement on Grandview Avenue at Elevation 201.7; thence ascending on a grade of 3.43% for a distance of 286 feet to E1. 211.51; thence along a convex vertical curve having an external of 0.61 feet for a distance of 200 feet to E1. 216.00; thence along a concave vertical curve having an external of 0.25 feet for a distance of 200 feet to E1. 219.00; thence continuing to ascend along a grade of 2.00% for a distance of 150 feet to E1. 222.00. All Elevations refer to Bangor City Datum. No person or persons appeared at the time and place set for the meeting. The road has been constructed to acceptable standards under a separate agreement between the City of Bangor and Mr. Darling and Mr. Parke, and separate Council action is being taken to establish the assessments for the improvements. The land for said right-of-way has been dedicated to the City for establishment of a public way, and no damages are recommended as a result of said laying out. The road has already been added to the Official City Map as a result of the prior approval of the Subdivision Plan by the Planning Board and the City Council. It is recommended that said roadway be established as a public way, to be named and known as Darling Parke Drive, A Plan showing the right-of-way layout is on file in the Office of the City Engineer.
