Order
N/A
Title, Order
Accepting a donation of Storage Units at the Union Street Recreation Complex from Bomarc Self Storage.
This Order would accept a donation of Storage Units from Bomarc Self Storage, to be used at the
Union Street Recreation Complex. The Union Street Recreation Complex is the primary location for
outdoor youth and adult sport activities in the City. Currently, the City is in the process of
constructing a new maintenance/restroom building at this complex. Bomarc Self Storage would like
to donate the design, purchase, and construction of three storage units for use by the Parks and
Recreation Department. The intent would be to incorporate these units into the new building
currently under construction. The initial building design had incorporated one large storage room.
This concept would take that space and divide it into three individual units, providing a benefit for
staff to keep all program/sport specific equipment in a dedicated area as well as allowing coaches to
access that equipment during their season. Bomarc Self Storage would donate the associated
design, materials, and construction of the units with a total budget not to exceed $8,000.
