2.Update:DavisBrookTankCSOStorageTankProject
JohninformedtheCommitteetheDavisTankprojectwaspartoftheLongTermControlPlan
andConsentDecreeinanefforttoreducecombinedseweroverflowsintothePenobscotRiver.
Theprojectiscurrentlyouttobid,withbidsdueonNovember14,2019.Projectcostranges
betweentwentytotwentysixmillion.Anticipatedstarting/stagingwouldbeJanuary2020.
Thetankwouldbelocatedattheexistingmoundareaonthewaterwithdimensionsexpected
tobeЊЉЉwidebyЋЉЉlongandЋЎdeep.Thetankwouldbeundergroundwiththeexception
ofacouplehatches,theassociatedbuildingwithtwobathrooms.Thewaterfronttrailwouldbe
closedduringthetwoyearconstructiontimeframe.ContractorwouldbeexpecttouseDutton
Streetandpotentiallythewaterfronttrailtotransport3540thousandcubicyardsofVRAP
