Authorizing the City Manager to Execute a Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City of Bangor and
AFSCME Council 93, Representing Aircraft Mechanics
This Order authorizes the City Manager to execute a Collective Bargaining Agreement covering the
Aircraft Mechanics at the Bangor Airport. Negotiations between the City and the Union have resulted
in a Tentative Agreement which has been ratified by the Union. The contract has been negotiated
within the bargaining guidelines established by the City Council and includes the following: a three
year term (7/1/19 - 6/30/22) and cost of living adjustments of 1.5% in year 1, 2.0% in year 2, and
2.0% in year 3.
This Tentative Agreement was reviewed with the City Council in Executive Session on November 13,
2019 and is presented with the recommendation of the City's Management Negotiation Committee.

Authorizing the City Manager to Execute a Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City of Bangor and
AFSCME Council 93, Representing Aircraft Mechanics
Whereas, the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City of Bangor and AFSCME Council 93,
representing the Aircraft Mechanics, ended on June 30, 2019;and
Whereas, AFSCME Council 93 provided the City a request to bargain a new Agreement; and
Whereas, a Tentative Agreement between the City and AFSCME has been reached and ratified by the Union;
and
Whereas, the City negotiated the Tentative Agreement within the guidelines provided by the City Council and
the Tentative Agreement was reviewed with the Council on November 13, 2019.
Be it Ordered by the City Council of the City of Bangor that, the City Manager is authorized to execute a
Collective Bargaining Agreement with AFSCME Council 93, representing the Aircraft Mechanics.
