In any zone it shall be unlawful for any person to construct, drill, establish, use, operate, maintain or replace a private water supply system without first obtaining a permit therefor from the Zoning 6 Code Enforcement Administration Officer. For purposes of this Section, the term "private water supply system" shall mean any drilled well, dug well, spring or any other source of water for cooking, drinking and other domestic consumption purposes. 12.1.1 Exceptions. All private water supply systems subject to this Ordinance shall be located in accordance with the following minimum setbacks: (a) not less than 100 feet from the nest point of the boundary to any public right-of-way; (b) not less than 100 feet from the nearest point on any waste water treatment tank or septic tank; (c) not less than 300 feet from the nearest point of any waste water disposal area.
