Shook, Jr. SUBJECT: Holiday Park Construction Permit Revision Sandy, in reply to your transmittal of August 2nd, I do not see any problem of a public health nature as a result of Thomas Walsh's proposal to add 38 new trailer lots and a new access road to Holiday Trailer Park on Essex Street. Our problems in the past with Mr. Walsh and Holiday Trailer Park have not been the design layout of the facility, but rather with the actual construction and use. 1. Improperly compacted and graded shoulders on earlier Park construction. 2. Installation and maintenance of the Park swimming pool. 3. Improper installation of sewer and water connectors for trailers and failure to cap these on vacant lots in ex- isting Park areas. Frawley, City Engineer CC: Sohn M. Lord, Planning Officer Subject: ,Holiday Mobile Home Park Expansion This office has reviewed the Plan entitled "Survey Layout Plan, Solid v Park Expansion, Essex Street, Bangor, Maine" prepared by n• W Bartlett, dated July 23, 1983, and the Plan is considered to be acceptable. The distance between the two driveways (285'+) is con— sidered to be adequate, and because of the good alta distance and anticipated low traffic volumes, the connection of the new driveway to Essex Street is not considered to have any adverse impact upon traffic.
