THAT Chapter VIII, Article 18, Section 3 (2) of the Laws and Ordinances
of the City of Bangor be amended as follows:
(2) Special Exceptions. The following uses shall be allowed in
a CivicandInstitutional Zone, but only
upon the granting of a special exception permit by the Planning
Board pursuant to Article 22 of this Ordinance.
(a) Medical or dental elinie office only when located on

SUBJECT: Amending Zoning Ordinance
Chapter VIII, Art. 18, Sec. 3(2) —Civic and
Institutional Zone - C.O. 8 83-191
Please be advised that the Planning Board at its regular
seting of May 16, 1983 held a public hearing on the above
zoning amendment. After considerable discussion as to the
necessity for and validity of the dimensional limitations
on the special exception site development as proposed in this
endment, the Board voted five is favor and none opposed to
recommend denial of the above zoning amendment.
