Of Ike pry Of Reeser: ORDERED, TRAIT the attached report of the City Engineer showing the estimated cost and recommended assessments for the extension of the sanitary sewer on State Street toward Hogan Road be and bereby is accepted, and be it further CRDEME , TEAT said construction be completed as soon as possible, with the funding of the City's share to be charged to Capital Account No. 52-60-20 (5147), Penobscot East Interceptor Sewer. STATEMENT OF FACT: A portion of this sewer extending across State Street was installed as part of the Penobscot East Interceptor Sewer project. The remaining portion is a lateral sewer to serve a portion of the frontage north of Hogan Road. Plans and Coat Estimates have been completed, which would provide for the following: The proposed extension would consist of the installation of 310 feet of S inch pipe and 1 manhole,at a total cost of $6,000. In addition, an 8 inch sewer connection under State Street to the Penobscot East Interceptor Sewer has already been completed as part of the Interceptor Sewer construction at a cost of $3,330., which would make a total coat of $9,330. for extending the sewer service. Of this amount, the City would pay fifty percent, and the remaining $4,665• would be assessed as follows: property Omer Frontage Assessment; Response NORTH SIDE Forrest H. Grant 778 State Street. 165' $ 672.25 In Favor Dr. Vence A. Aloupis 792 State Street 148.5' 605.02 In Favor Thelma M. Clukeeyy 800 state Street 66' 268.90 (Non -assessable) D & J Corporation 810 State Street 193' 786.33 In Favor SOUTH SIDE City of Bangor and Maine Central Railroad 572.5' 21332.50 (Hon -assessable) - Total $49665.00 The property of Thelma M. Clukey is considered to be non - assessable, since she already has a direct private connection into the Interceptor Sewer. -1- It is recommended that the sewer be constructed as soon as weather conditions permit, and upon receipt of payment of the estimated assessment from each of the property owners.
