PUBLIC COMMENT Darcy Cook a member of Transportation for All expressed her concerns with the bus

was best for the users and she was not in favor of mini hubs.

main concern for the bus service was that it be tailored towards the residents without
vehicles who depend on it for work and appointments.
Susan Whitmore of Orono thought the social issues surrounding child drug use and
teen homelessness needed to be worked on.
John Hiatt stated he received notice of the parking committee meeting scheduled for
tomorrow through email this afternoon and would not be able to attend due to a
conflict in his schedule. He felt home healthcare workers should be given a parking
permit and be exempt from the parking regulations. He also asked the status of the
chicken ordinance as he would like to have a chicken and cannot afford to live in the
rural area. Council Chair Nichols stated that the majority of the Council was not in
favor of pursuing such an ordinance.
