THAT the provisions of Chapter. VI, Article 3, Section 5.3 of the
6rdinances of the City of Bangor be. amended to read as follows:
5.3 On -premise Signs in Residential:: Agricultural. and Park'
and Open Space Zones Which Require -a Permit. Sn R -f

R-4, R-5, A and P 6 0 Zones, on -premise signs hall comply
with the following. conditions:
5.3.1 One on -premise sign either free standing, wall, or
projecting, not to exceed twenty-four (24) square
feet in sign area, either non -illuminated or indirectly
illuminated, for any non-residentialpermitted use, allowed
by the Zoning Ordinance except dome-occu at�'on and for any
legal nonconforming use, provrd�uc sh 1gn rs not more
than 15 feet in heightand is set back from the right-of-
way not less than 1/2 the building setback distance as
required for the zone by ,the Bangor Zoning Ordinance..
AND THAT the provisions of Chapter. VI, Article 3, Section 5.3 of
the Ordinances of the City of Bangor be further amendedby adding
the following paragraph:

STATEMENT OF FACT: Additions are underlined. This amendment provides
for separate treatment of signs: for home -occupations
in R-1, R-2, R-3, R-4,, R-5, and Agricultural Zones.

THAT the provisions of Chapter VI, Article 3, Section 5.3 of the
Ordinances of the City of Bangor be amended to read as follows:
