Municipal Quitclaim Deed - Property on Fifteenth Street

ORDERED,
THAT John G. Field, Deputy Finance Director, is hereby
authorized and directed to execute a Municipal Quitclaim Deed, a
copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk, releasing
any interest the City may have to certain property located on
Fifteenth Street by virtue of tax liens recorded in the Penobscot
Registry of Deeds. Said deed shall be directed to Kenneth Y.
Hodsdon and. Evelyn S. Hodsdon, successors in title to Ira McElwee.

Me CITY OF BANGOR, a body corporate, located at Danger, County of
-Penobscot, State of .Nine, for consideration laid, releases to I(Q am Y. HDDSODM
and EJELYN S. HDDSDPY, husband wife, as joint tenants, successors
in title re Ira
McElwee, all its right, title and interest in and to the following real estate
situated at said Bangor, more particularly described as follows:
A certain lot or Parcel of land situated in Bangor,
County of Pegbscot, state of Mine, to wit:
Beginning at the most norM rly corner of a parcel
of lard conveyed by Ira C. McElwee to Walter P.
McHale and Margaret L. McHale by deed dated August
21, 1953, recorded in Penobscot County Registry of
Deeds, Vol. 1405, Page 140; Cheam northwesterly
in a continuation of the generally northerly line
Of said McHale parcel fifty 1505 feet to -a Pointy
flounce southwesterlyparallel wiN the generally
northwesterly line of Fifteentb Street fifty-two
(52) feet to a point; thence souraeasterly
parallel with said first described bound fifty
(50) feet to the most westerly corner of said
McKean parcel described in Vol. 1405, Page 1421
thence northeasterly along the generally westerly
line of said McHale parcel fifty -tun (52) fest to
Una point of beginning.
Being a portion of the same premises conveyed to
the Grantees herein by dead of Walter P. McHale or
al, dated February 23, 1978 and recorded in Volune
2040, Page 191, Penobscot Registry of Deeds.
The Purpose of this deed is to convey any interest
of the Grantor, if any, in the abovedescribed
premises acquired by virtue of municipal tax liens
recorded in Volume 1673, Page 211; Volum 1781,
Page 59; Volume 1781, Page 60; Volume 1837, Page
363; Volume 1837, Page 364; Volume 1892, Page 260)
and Volume 1892, Page 261.
Grantees' Address: 209 Fifteenth Street, Bangor,
Mine, 04401.
